About Us
This challenge is sponsored by WomenCARE and all proceeds and donations go directly to us. We are a locally grown non-profit that has been providing support to women with cancer and their families/caregivers since 1992. Started by a group of women who saw the need in Santa Cruz County, CA for women to have a community of support, we have been here to provide FREE support to all women with cancer, at all stages of that journey. With a small staff and a large complement of volunteers we are able to provide critical support and many direct services , which include:
- practical support (transportation, light house cleaning, childcare, etc),
- emotional support groups and
- healing circle classes,
- information (library) and referrals,
- body works and body care,
- community outreach
- legal advocates
Our Entre Nosotras (Between Us) program provides culturally sensitive support to Spanish speaking women with cancer in south Santa Cruz county.
